i hate writing bios but i'm a 24 year old palestinian detroit resident; artist, writer and media maker. i work specifically on the INCITE! Women of Color Media Track which centers women of color's strategies using media as a tool against sexual violence.
i started putting out zines around age 13, and i still put out a zine once in a while now as well as write on a few blogs. i work to pay the bills with various hustles. i'm also involved with Speak: Women of Color Media Makers.
i came to the AMC in 2006 in it's last year in ohio and then started volunteering/organizing in 2007. i've been really happy to help AMC transition to detroit.
