So happy to be with the AMC

Hey to everybody,
I've just returned from the WAM conference in Boston. And I wanted to take some time to let all the AMC organizers (and esp. Mike Medow and Josh Breitbart)how grateful I am for the amazing work that they have done and continue to do to make the AMC what it is. It saves my heart and my sanity knowing that a group of people exist that I don't have to explain the differences between media justice and media reform, and I don't have to explain why media justice is the way to go. And I am especially grateful for the people who made the choice to make the AMC not just "diverse" but specifically anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, etc. There is a difference, and the AMC conference exposes that difference better than any words I could ever say.

awww, bfp. Thanks for the note. And thank you for all you do for the AMC. We wouldn't be where we're at today without all you give to the conference as an adviser, promoter and participant. Thanks for helping make it happen
