Wayne State Dorms

CLOSEST TO THE CONFERENCE
Reserve a room when you register.
  • Cost: $45/night per person per night.
  • Rooms available for nights of June 17 - June 27 (convering the dates of boh the AMC and the U.S. Social Forum)
  • Location: Towers Residence Hall, on the Wayne State University campus (check out some pics)
  • Distance from the AMC: Practically next door. This is as close as you will get to the conference site.
  • Amenities: Linens, towels and pillow included. Rooms are suite style, containing four one-person bedrooms attached to a shared living space with a sitting area and an attached bathroom.
  • Note: Wayne State issues cards to each individual staying in the dorms. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and they strictly enforce a one-person-per-card policy.

When you book your room, say you are with the AMC to get access to these special rates: $69 for single king-sized bed or double queen-sized bed, + 12% tax; $109 single/double Suite rate, + 12% tax

  • Distance from the AMC: 0.7 miles.
